The Ethical Sourcing Executive – Transparency is responsible for supporting the Ethical Sourcing Manager in developing and implementing our Human rights due diligence work across our raw materials supply chains and engaging internally and externally to drive positive change.
Key Responsibilities Support the Sourced with Care programme in herbs, including collection and maintenance of transparency data, conducting Twinings Community Needs Assessments (TCNAs), liaising with the herbs buying team, developing projects to improve conditions in line with the overall objectives and sharing progress and updates internally and externally.
Support the increased transparency of Ovaltine raw materials by liaising with procurement teams across the various Business Units (global) and global procurement members to collect, refine and analyse data.
Support the reporting of programme updates and KPIs, progress and metrics (on raw materials).
Keep up to date on current industry human rights, living wages, ethical sourcing initiatives and best practices, legal requirements and stakeholders' agenda.
Ensure the herb database/s is/are kept up to date.
Analyse data and provide robust statistics reports for internal reporting and communication material.
Support the Living wage roadmap across our operations and supply chains through measuring, analysing and verifying the living wage gaps and engaging with external stakeholders at sector level to share learnings and improve understanding.
Maintain relationships with relevant organizations (ICI, RSPO etc.)
for learning and reporting purposes.
Review and assess human rights risks in our supply chains by deepening our understanding and looking out for new or emerging adverse impacts, to prioritize raw materials to focus our work.
Identify pathways for sustainable sourcing across prioritized raw materials to address or prevent risks and improve conditions.
Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of strategy, goal and targets.
Share learnings and best practices within the team, to contribute to effective ways of working.
Support with general administrative tasks, including purchase orders, new supplier set up, stationery, booking travels and organising team meetings.
