Prior experience in an estimating role along with familiarity with industry standards desired, willingness to learn and build a long-term career.Full Time office base role in Smethwick 7.45am – 4.30 pm Monday to Thursday and 3.15 pm FridayKey Responsibilities Include but not limited to the following:• Knowledge of Metal Fabrication• Completion of budget and full quotations on behalf of our clients.• An understanding of architectural, and other specialist drawings, plans and specifications to provide take offs and quotations.• Perform accurate project take–offs to the required level of detail utilising measuring take-off tools and software for precision.• Executing assigned estimating tasks with precision and attention to detail.• Handling incoming telephone calls, managing messages or redirections as required maintaining clear communication.• Working closely with your line Manager• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and explain estimates to internal and external stakeholders.• Cost Saving Solutions: Proactively identify potential innovative cost-saving solutions and value engineering opportunities to present to clients, enhancing competitiveness and maximizing project profitability.• Keep an up-to-date log of current enquires and work to a logical grading system to prioritise work.• Experience of CRM Systems preferred.Knowledge of press brakes, guillotine, laser / turret machinery
