Estimator

Our client, a well-established drylining company based in Eastbourne, is seeking an experienced Drylining Estimator to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and competitive cost estimates for drylining projects across the region.
Responsibilities Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for drylining projects, including materials, labour, and equipment Review architectural and engineering drawings to determine project scope and requirements Develop and maintain accurate cost databases and take-off sheets Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to clarify project specifications and requirements Prepare tender documents and proposals Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing Assist in the preparation of project budgets and schedules Monitor project progress and identify potential cost variances Provide technical support to the project management team Requirements Proven experience as a Drylining Estimator, preferably within the Eastbourne area In-depth knowledge of drylining materials, methods, and industry standards Excellent understanding of construction drawings and specifications Strong numerical and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work independently and as part of a team Full UK driving licence Benefits Competitive salary Company car or car allowance Pension scheme Healthcare package Opportunity for career progression within a growing company
