Job summary The main function of this role is to support the eRostering Team in the successful implementation and management of the eRostering systems including the staff portal, roster creation, roster administration and validating rosters for payroll.The interview process will include a skills test.
Main duties of the job Support system users in ensuring that data held in the eRostering system is accurate and all updates are made in a timely manner.
Attention to detail is key to this role.Provide support and guidance for roster managers, roster administrators, directorate management teams and staff using the staff portal.Use rostering knowledge to understand the demands on wards/departments to deliver an effective roster, offering expertise and support to achieve high quality rosters.Work with each ward/department to establish and maintain agreed unit and individual rules.Facilitate and manage change within the organisation by championing the rostering system and encouraging others in its use.
About us The eRostering team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital provides system management and supports all users of HealthRoster and its associated modules.
The service scope is extensive, including, but not limited to; System Management (HealthRoster NHSp, SafeCare, Roster Perform and Loop/Employee Online)Scheduled and bespoke training sessionsPolicy developmentGuidance on policy application for HealthRoster and other HR PoliciesRepresentation and membership of ICS meetingsRegular and bespoke reportingSupports the monthly UNIFY submission Whether supporting active implementation or business as usual processes an important factor is the eRostering team.
Job description Job responsibilities Workforce and OD has a vacancy for an efficient and highly organised eRostering Facilitator to join the eRostering team.The role is a development post with an entry level of band 3.
It is anticipated that you will progress to band 4 following successful completion of competencies.The main function of this role is to support the eRostering Team in the successful implementation and management of the eRostering systems including the staff portal, roster creation, roster administration and validating rosters for payroll.
Attention to detail is key to this role.You will be educated to Diploma level or have equivalent experience, with knowledge of using a range of IT systems and ability to effectively manage and prioritise own workload to meet varying deadlines.You will need to possess effective verbal and written communication skills, have the ability to work individually as well as part of a team and have a clear understanding of confidentiality.Experience of contributing towards service improvement/development is essential.
Person Specification Qualifications and Training Essential Educated to Diploma level in a relevant subject or equivalent experience Experience Essential Experience of using a range of IT systems/programmes including Microsoft Excel and Word Participation in projects leading to change in working processes and procedures Recent experience of developing and delivering training including group and one-to-one sessions Experience of working in a challenging environment Experience of contributing towards service improvement/development Desirable Experience in supporting the implementation of an electronic system Experience of minute/note taking Knowledge and understanding of roster management Skills and Knowledge Essential Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Effectively manage own workload and the ability to prioritise Understanding of confidentiality, information governance and the Data Protection Act Excellent skills including Microsoft Office Ability to work effectively under pressure to tight deadlines Excellent attention to detail Personel Attributes Essential Ability to build and maintain effective and professional working relationships at all levels Have a proactive and enthusiastic approach with the ability to motivate staff Confident and resilient nature Works well within a team environment Ability to retain information and be able to share with others Demonstrates our Proud to CARE Values Essential Compassion, Ambition, Respect, Encouragement
