We are seeking an experienced EPMA Programme Manager to spearhead the planning, delivery, and ongoing management of our EPMA system.
The successful candidate will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including clinical staff, IT, and project managers, ensuring seamless integration of the system within existing frameworks and delivering measurable improvements in patient care.
Key Responsibilities Lead the full programme lifecycle of the EPMA project from planning to post-implementation review.
Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to ensure the EPMA system meets the needs of users while adhering to healthcare standards and regulations.
Manage project timelines, risks, and resources, ensuring on-time delivery within budget.
Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication, providing updates to senior management, clinicians, and end-users.
Ensure change management is implemented effectively, supporting staff through training and transition phases.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the EPMA system post-implementation, making improvements as needed.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including business cases, project plans, risk logs, and status reports.
Lead the procurement and management of any external vendors or contractors involved in the programme.
Requirements Essential: Proven experience in programme management within a healthcare or clinical setting.
Experience managing the implementation of EPMA systems or other large-scale healthcare IT projects.
Strong understanding of clinical workflows, medication management, and NHS/healthcare regulatory requirements .
Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse teams.
Experience with change management and ensuring the adoption of new technologies in clinical environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to deliver complex projects on time.
Knowledge of Prince2, Agile, or other project management methodologies .
Desirable: Previous experience in working with EPMA software solutions (e.g., Cerner, Meditech, or similar).
A background in pharmacy, clinical informatics, or health IT systems.
Relevant certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, MSP).
