Environmental Sustainability Specialist

Job Title: Environmental Sustainability Specialist At Amazon Transportation Services, we are seeking an Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team.
This role will be responsible for managing environmental compliance at our facilities in the UK & IE.
Develop and implement environmental management systems to ensure compliance with local regulations.
Conduct site-specific risk assessments and compliance evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
Partner with site leadership teams to execute company environmental procedures and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
Manage and execute multi-site responsibilities to comply with air emissions, stormwater, waste, wastewater, and other environmental-related laws.
Participate in the development and implementation of environmental management control systems, procedures, processes, and products.
Measure and analyze sites' performance against published environmental policies.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in civil, chemical or environmental engineering or related field of engineering study.
Experience serving as an environmental technical resource, program specialist, or program manager.
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, including comfortable interfacing with site and regional leaders.
