Location postcode: GL52 7DG or OX10 6LX Salary: up to £45,983 per annum, dependent on experience Contract: Full-time, permanent Working hours: 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri - 35 hours per week Landfill gas management is your area of expertise and interest - maybe you're an ambitious monitoring technician or working for a consultancy or waste company doing management or monitoring.
Or perhaps you're a Landfill Manager looking to move sideways.
Either way, the focus of this rewarding job, which offers the opportunity for flexible working, is on ensuring that the environmental control and management systems are efficiently run and maintained at all our sites to achieve regulatory compliance and attain high standards of energy efficiency.
The role requires travel mainly in the southeast and M4 corridor across a range of facilities including quarries, closed and operational landfills and various waste management facilities.

What you'll be doing as Environmental Infrastructure Manager Day to day you will work closely with site teams and the Environmental team at our Oxfordshire head office, but you will also collaborate with our engineers, planners, sustainability specialists and site managers across a range of energy or environmental projects.
For example, one project at the feasibility stage is the installation of a large scale wind turbine at our Avonmouth site.
You can also expect to investigate other technologies that can be utilised at the landfill sites and other facilities to minimise environmental impact and assist the business in reaching Net-Zero.
What you'll need The 'musts' are experience in landfill environmental monitoring and control systems with a focus on landfill gas control systems, a thorough understanding of the regulatory framework applicable to the waste management industry, and project and contractor management.
A full driving licence is essential too.
