EHS Specialist – 6-Month ContractLocation: Southampton, Fareham, and Eastleigh AreasOn behalf of a leading Medical Device Manufacturing company, we are looking for an experienced EHS Specialist to join their team on a 6-month contract.
This is a great opportunity to contribute to the health and safety compliance of FMCG manufacturing and logistics environments.About the Role:You will play a crucial role in managing Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) practices across the company's Hampshire-based sites.
This includes supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring legal and internal compliance for health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with legal and internal EHS standards across manufacturing sites.Review, implement, and deliver EHS policies, procedures, and training.Promote a positive EHS culture, engaging employees in campaigns and safety initiatives.Conduct risk assessments and ensure chemical compliance.Liaise with external authorities for incident reporting (RIDDOR).Deputise for the EHS EU Leader as needed.Requirements:NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent in Health & Safety.Experience in EHS, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing sectors.Valid UK driver's licence for multi-site work.Ability to start immediately and be on-site for the majority of the contract.This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and experienced EHS professional to make an immediate impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
