Environmental Health Officer

Role: Environmental Health Officer - Food Safety Duration: 6 month contract (potential extension) Location: North West of England Rate: DOE p/h Umbrella A local authority client in the North West of England is seeking an experienced Environmental Health Officer specializing in Food Safety to join their team for 6 months, with a likelihood of extension.
The majority of the work will involve: Undertaking food safety and standards inspections Conducting re-visits Identifying where enforcement action is required and escalating to existing staff Responding to customer service requests Completing inspection reports Establishing and allocating food hygiene ratings Preparing schedules of work for food business operators This role offers flexible working patterns on a hybrid basis.
