Environmental Coordinator

Busy railway contractor requires an Environmental Coordinator, who will work out of their Glasgow office.

The role:
Create consent applications and assist in pre-application consultation process Conduct site inspections, record and report the findings Using Excel, monitor, assess and report on KPIs, targets, objectives, audit findings, complaints, incidents, waste management, carbon and energy, near misses Perform risk assessments, ensuring environmental risks are identified, recorded, communicated and addressed Take part in environmental investigations Seek out and implement best practices Skills and Qualifications:
Environmental qualification Network Rail knowledge and experience (experience of NR-L2-ENV-015 would be a huge bonus) Member of IEMA (MIEMA or AIEMA) Driving licence Excellent communication skills This is a great opportunity for career progression and promotion for an ambitious Environmental Coordinator with experience working in the rail, engineering, utilities or construction sectors.
