Success achieved by solid relationships with established and new clients.The Role - Environmental Consultant / EIA Project ManagerAs a result of a growing and diverse pipeline of projects, our key client requires an EIA Project Manager to join their growing Environmental Assessment team.As a Project Manager you will play a key role in supporting clients across a range of industries through the management of planning applications, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and other environmental assessments, across a variety of industry critical projects.A flexible hybrid working arrangement to suit both employee & business needs is on offer.ResponsibilitiesThe motivation to develop professionally with support by the businessTechnical assessments including desktop assessmentsSurveys and site visits as required.Manage the delivery of large and small projects including client and subcontractor management, project budgets, programme and invoicing.Identification and management of project risks with the support of senior staff.Prepare tenders including obtaining quotes from subcontractors and drafting of fee proposals for approval by senior staff.Preparation and review of written technical reportsBusiness DevelopmentIdentify future project opportunitiesClient management and liaison and attendance at industry eventsAssisting with internal management and business processes including the tracking of business opportunities and team financesMentoring opportunity availableEssential Attributes:3 or more years' experience within an environmental consultancySolid project management skillsThrive in a consultancy environmentThe ability to work collaboratively with multifunctional team both internally and externally.Report writing skills and attention to detail.An understanding of the planning and environmental assessment legislations across the UK.Experience of identifying clients and undertaking business development activities would be an advantage.Experience of line management and mentoring of junior staff.Full UK Driving Licence.On Offer:A unique offering with the benefits of a large company but in a small, collaborative and friendly environment.competitive salary and other standard benefits including 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) and pension schemes£32,000 - £38,000 negotiableA flexible hybrid working arrangementAnnual discretionary company performance bonus scheme (which has been paid out in each of the last two years)Flexible benefits scheme to suit you, including employee assistance programme, cycle to work & tax-free childcare scheme.Benefits Hub, offering a range of Employee Discounts & Rewards.Opportunity to shape and develop your careerA modern, friendly and supportive work environment including a clear progression path to the next level of professional development.A fully supportive environmentActively encouraged to be innovative and collaborative.An opportunity to work and lead on a wide variety of cutting-edge projects, addressing the big environmental challenges in the low-carbon economy and shaping the built environment for generations to come.Next steps?
