RSK Raw part of the RSK Group have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Consultant/Project Manager to join our team in Addlestone, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an exciting mix of site and office work, and environmental contracting and consultancy projects.RSK RAW offers multi-disciplinary environmental protection and risk reduction services to a wide range of industries and clients across the UK, and are specialists in the provision of spill response, contamination investigation and remediation projects. Responsibilities:Management of a number of oil pollution and contaminated land projectsResponsible for financial control of allocated projects including project driven invoicing, issuing of purchase orders, and chasing payment on outstanding and overdue invoicesResponsible for procurement and management of subcontractors for allocated projects.  Ensuring that they provide the relevant health and safety method statements and risk assessments and that these procedures are followed throughout the worksPro-active client management, maintaining good communication throughout the lifecycle of a project, being aware of the clients needs and providing regular progress reports and confirming any variances as they ariseAccountable for management and performance of projects and continued delivery of a high quality service, providing clear, commercially focused solutionsPreparation of project descriptions and collection of appropriate marketing photographs for projects managedConduct field surveys and collect data about the level of contamination on a siteCarry out desk based research, interpreting dataCompile technical reports based on findingsReview of technical reports, letters, purchase orders, proposals and general correspondence prepared by others, prior to submissionQualifications/Experience:Science based degreeAssociate membership of a relevant professional bodyAt least 3 years' relevant industry experienceA full UK driving licenceSalary & Benefits:Salary up to £45,000 Depending on experienceContributory pension schemeA flexible benefits programme, including the option to buy additional holidays and private healthcareRegular training and career developmentRSK Group are an equal opportunity employer#Environmental #Environmentaljobs #greencareersRSK will not accept unsolicited CVs from agencies other than RSK PSL or Secondary agencies.
