The Environmental Advisor will oversee environmental and resource management at various project sites, providing support to project teams in achieving environmental objectives.
This position involves regular visits to construction sites to perform assessments, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and this company's standards, and ensuring the accurate collection of necessary data.
Working within the sustainability team, the advisor will be responsible for compiling and organizing data for the division, assisting in performance tracking, report generation, and communicating project outcomes within the division.
? A critical part of this role is working closely with project teams to incorporate environmental requirements and improve the environmental performance of construction sites.
The position also provides the opportunity to enhance day-to-day environmental practices related to construction activities.
Responsibilities of the role but not limited to; Be the Eyes on the Ground : Conduct exciting and hands-on site visits to evaluate how well this business is adhering to the environmental management system.

Desirable experience and attributes of the successful candidate; Due to the nature of this work (travelling to company sites) a driver's license is required Background in the construction industry or environmental management, with a relevant degree.
Familiarity and experience with key areas such as energy efficiency, waste and resource management, and environmental oversight.
Understanding of environmental challenges specific to the construction and housebuilding sectors.
Proficiency in data analysis and management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
