Help to develop and continually improve site processes working alongside EHS Coordinator.

8:00am - 4:30pm Plenty of training and development opportunities 22.5 days annual leave + Bank holidays Option to buy a week's holiday each year 8% Employer Pension Contribution Free access to the Headspace App Employee Assistance Programme Discounted gym membership Free on-site parking and electric charging Main Responsibilities Assist EHS & Facilities manager in rollout of Group Health & Safety Policies and Procedures at site level across all departments including COSHH, Engineering & Process Safety.
Manage, maintain and develop site safety procedures and standards Develop & organise EHS documentation and processes in preparation for ISO14001 and ISO45001 certification Carry out regular safety training & maintain matrices across all departments Provide regular performance reports to EHS Manager to determine weekly/monthly progress on the annual safety strategy Work alongside health and safety reps to develop & coach departmental safety on site and enhance site safety culture.
Assist in driving environmental improvement activities to reduce the sites environmental impact to air, water and land.
Support in day to day H&S & Facilities activities where required.
Ideal Candidate NEBOSH Cert / Diploma or Degree from an OHS Discipline ISO 14001 or 45001 Internal Auditor trained Positive, can do attitude Target driven Quality minded Ability to work under pressure Able to work cross-functionally Experience in carrying out risk assessments Thorough understanding of COSHH Regulations & Best practice Fundamental knowledge of UK H&S Legislation & HSE Regulations Practical experience in an operational environment required Due to the nature of our business, all successful candidates must complete a basic DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service check) before employment can commence, and at regular intervals during employment.
