Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager – Food ManufacturingLocation: Regular travel across two factory sites in Milton Keynes and TiptonSalary: £65,000 per annum + car allowance + bonusOur client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, are looking for an experienced HSE Manager to lead and drive their health, safety, and environmental across two of their manufacturing facilities.Key Responsibilities:Policy Implementation: Ensure health, safety, and environmental policies are aligned with company standards and regulations.Safety Culture: Support factory teams in fostering a strong safety culture and embedding compliance into daily processes.Audit Management: Manage customer and regulatory audits by overseeing documentation, procedures, and certification.Incident Management: Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, implementing corrective measures to prevent recurrence.Training Development: Create and deliver comprehensive training programs on HSE policies, procedures, and best practices.Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and assessing the effectiveness of safety measures.Collaboration: Work closely with leadership, management, and employees on all HSE-related matters.Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance HSE performance, fostering a proactive and compliant environment.Environmental: Act as the focal point for environmental sustainability, including waste and water management and renewable energy initiatives.Travel Requirements:This role involves regular travel between two key manufacturing sites in Milton Keynes and Tipton during the working week.Requirements:Qualifications: NEBOSH certification (or equivalent), with additional environmental qualifications such as IEMA is highly desirable.Experience: At least 5 years' HSE experience within food manufacturing environmentExpertise: Strong understanding of HSE management systems, environmental impact assessments and initiatives.Skills: Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.Benefits:Salary: £65,000 per annumBonus: Annual STI bonus of 16%Car allowance: Car allowance £620 a month plus fuel card+ many more great incentives Interested?
