About the job Job Title: EntryLevel PLC Programmer Location: Multiple locations across England UK Daresbury Leeds Burton on Trent Newcastle Reading About the Role: We are hiring on behalf of a leading company in the automation sector with a strong reputation for providing comprehensive property and infrastructure support services.
This wellestablished independently owned organization offers specialized building and facilities management solutions across the utilities pharmaceuticals food & beverage and chemicals industries.
Due to continued growth we are seeking EntryLevel PLC Programmers to join their expanding team at various locations across England.
Requirements Key Responsibilities: Develop specifications and create design documentation.
Configure and develop software for a variety of automation applications.
Safely test and commission systems in live operational environments.
Maintain high standards and consistency throughout the design and implementation process.
Collaborate effectively within a team and adapt to different work environments.
Skills & Qualifications: Familiarity with Siemens and Allen Bradley automation systems.
Basic knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal and Allen Bradley Studio 5000.
Understanding of SCADA systems.
Basic knowledge of control systems and electricals.
Key Requirements: Must reside within 45 minutes of the relevant office location.
Possess a full UK driving license.
Willingness to relocate if necessary.

Contact Skills / Qualifications: Knowledge on PLC, either Siemens/ Allen Bradley Knowledge on PLC and SCADA system Basic understanding of RTU and Telemetry is a plus but not mandatory Experience in the water industry is a plus but not mandatory Key Criteria: You should have completed qualifications in a relevant field, such as: ONC, NVQ Level 3, or an equivalent qualification, or a time-served apprenticeship.
At least 2+ years of experience in PLC Programming A full, valid UK driving license is required.
