AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
As a Consulting Sales Leader / Enterprise Service Manager (ESM), you will manage the working relationship with key customers, and develop / execute a long-term Professional Services strategy within the accounts. You will be a trusted advisor for our customers, and you will be responsible for all aspects of business development, relationship development, delivery oversight and program management.
Key job responsibilitiesLong term development of Cloud Strategy for Global customersEngage with customers to understand their business drivers and application portfolioIdentify and develop specific opportunities; and supporting business casesDeal shaping, including estimations, deal pricing, contract negotiations and closingPlanning and implementation of a portfolio of projects, including budget and deliverable responsibilities; and mitigation of delivery risks and issuesOverseeing delivery of projects in account, ensuring high quality deliveryAct as single person of contact for Customer executives, developing trusted relationshipsEducate customers on AWS services and translate those into a clear business value propositionAbout the teamDiverse Experiences

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS15+ years of IT consulting/management experience, with demonstrated IT & Business Transformation experience in customer-facing roles.Experience working with large multi-national organizations as the Consulting Services lead for clients, delivering Business Transformation projects, and own a bookings/revenue targetExperience in account engagement and management, including identifying, developing, and executing complex transactionsAbility to establish relationships with C-Suite and translate the power of cloud computing into a core business enabler and to articulate business outcomes for C-Suite discussion.A proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects to meet new Business objectives.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in developing end-to-end solutions for the Financial Services IndustrySAFe, Agile, and/or DevOps accreditation/experience a plusExperience with large-scale enterprise system integration, including SAP, Core Banking and othersExperience with designing, building, and operating global IT organizations and infrastructuresAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
