Responsibilities Implementation and monitoring of the standards for key components of the normative documentation (Risk Appetite Framework (RAF), Risk Appetite Statement (RAS), Risk Management Framework (RMF)) for SGLB and SGIL: o Co-ordination of the update process (at least annually) o Ensure consistency with the Group normative documentation o Establish alignment with regulatory expectations o Preparation of clear, accurate and efficient documentation and related summaries o Establish and monitor adherence to the RAF, RAS, RMF Coordinate and enhance SGLB and SGIL risk identification and assessment framework and conduct periodic risk identification and assessment campaigns; Undertake the review and challenge of key ESG risk factor and capital management aspects Maintain awareness of business, regulatory and market developments, providing support and thought leadership to enhance risk management Preparation of impact / action summaries related to relevant regulatory developments Preparation of documentation and presentation for relevant governance fora Participate in and/or lead projects as required Support the embedding of strong risk culture and sound governance Participate in the SGIL ICAAP Profile required CORE COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: - Advanced understanding of enterprise risk management in a banking environment - Deep experience in developing Risk Management Frameworks, Risk Appetite, Risk identification and assessment, capital management and production of ICAAP deliverables - Sound knowledge of and experience in identifying, assessing, and managing ESG risk factors - Experience in assessing internal and external risk trends, regulatory developments, etc and articulating impact on key deliverables - Team player with excellent emotional intelligence, enjoys sharing information, works collaboratively - Strong risk culture and reliable professional conduct; demonstrates risk awareness and good conduct behaviours, knowledge of and compliance with internal policies - Excellent co-ordination and project management skills demonstrating impactful leadership - Adept at forming effective relationships across all levels of seniority inorder to collaborate with, influence and engage key stakeholders - Demonstrable ability to deliver compelling, well-structured presentations - Writing proficiency - especially for key governance and normative documentation; newsletters and regulatory publication summaries / impact analyses - Rigorous, keen attention to detail and proactive - Proficient in the use of all Microsoft office applications and proven ability to innovate - Excellent command of written and spoken English - Enthusiastic for new challenges with a desire to constantly learn and expand knowledge in a changing environment ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES THAT WOULD BE BENEFICIAL: - Strong quantitative knowledge and skills linked to financial statements, performance analysis and ICAAP - Subject matter expertise on stress testing and reverse stress testing Why join us People join for the impact they can have on us.
