Enterprise Architect Middlesborough, Yorkshire Upto £80,000 per annum 83DATA are partnered with an award winning SaaS Construction organisation who are looking for an experienced and dynamic Enterprise Architect to join their team, responsible for shaping the technical strategy and overseeing the internal IT and business systems.
This role is pivotal in ensuring technology solutions align with business goals, offering robust, scalable, and secure frameworks for growth.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain technical architecture and roadmaps for internal systems and processes.
Establish and enforce governance processes to ensure consistency, compliance, and alignment with enterprise policies.
Evaluate and select technologies, tools, and platforms for internal IT.
Provide architectural oversight for IT projects, ensuring scalability and security.
Assess risks and implement strategies to ensure operational resilience and continuity.
Mentor colleagues, promoting a culture of knowledge-sharing and professional growth.
Foster a continuous improvement mindset and encourage innovation across teams.
Support project delivery teams through technology implementation, ensuring alignment with architectural principles.
Produce clear and accessible documentation for both business and technical stakeholders.
Essential Skills & Experience: Experience with architecture patterns and enterprise-scale solutions considering integration, security, and scalability.
Proficiency in public cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with architecture frameworks like TOGAF or ArchiMate.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with third parties and internal teams.
Experience with Agile methodologies and modern programming languages.
Commercial awareness to balance trade-offs for successful delivery.
Knowledge of core business processes (finance, HR, sales, marketing).
TOGAF or BCS certification.
Desirable: Experience with architecture tools (ArchiMate, BizzDesign, Sparx EA).
Desirable: Understanding of distributed systems, cloud technologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
Desirable: Knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., ISO27001).
