We're seeking a dedicated English Tutor to join our Maths & English division in Aldershot.
In this exciting part-time role, you'll deliver face-to-face lessons and support learners working toward their GCSE English qualifications.
In some cases, you may also deliver Functional Skills to learners with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), providing tailored instruction to help them succeed.
Your learners will come from diverse vocational disciplines such as public services (military academy), hair and beauty, and construction—each with unique goals and challenges.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in GCSE English that inspire and motivate learners.
Provide Functional Skills instruction on a case-by-case basis, tailoring your teaching to meet individual needs.
Support learners who have not yet achieved their English or Maths qualifications, guiding them toward success.
Adapt teaching strategies to suit the diverse needs of learners across various vocational areas.
Collaborate with colleagues and academy staff to ensure each learner receives the support they need.
What We're Looking For: To excel in this role, you'll need: A Level 3 qualification in English A teaching qualification (minimum Level 3, such as PTTLS, AET, or equivalent).
A minimum of 2 years' experience delivering English lessons, ideally including GCSE or Functional Skills.
A proven ability to connect with learners from diverse backgrounds and tailor your teaching to meet their needs.
A genuine passion for helping learners achieve their full potential and overcome barriers to success.
