English Teacher/Tutor Full-time salary £28,620 - £39,300 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience.
Full-time or part-time considered.
Full-time is 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
One year contract initially leading to a permanent post Teaching Personnel have an excellent opportunity to work with a Independent special day school.
The school cater for pupils aged 11-16 focusing on social and emotional development.
The Job Undertake subject teaching responsibility and ensure all pupils develop their knowledge and skills and make good progress in their learning Work with the Head Teacher and Leadership team to deliver a sequenced curriculum which builds knowledge and skills towards agreed end points Effectively monitor the progress of each pupil, checking their understanding systematically and effectively, putting in place clearly directed and timely interventions The Person Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS/PGCE) preferred but other recognised teaching qualification considered Experience of teaching to secondary class/group Ability to teach from primary level up to GCSE English Ability to prepare and deliver appropriate curriculum using a range of teaching styles and methodologies.
