Your new role Starting in September, you will work as a part of a successful department made up of specialist teachers and will be responsible for: Teaching KS3 and KS4 English.
Full planning, preparation and assessment duties.
Actively taking part in departmental meetings.
Pastoral duties including parent's evenings.
What you'll need to succeedYou must hold QTS - TEFL or ESOL teachers are not suitable unless also possessing PGCE in English.
You will be a qualified teacher, and you will have previous experience of teaching within a secondary school or college.
Hold a valid PGCE.
Hold a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
A commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing of pupils.
Up to date EWC registration.
