Job Description Monarch Education are working with a Secondary School in Bristol who are looking for a full time English Teacher to start ASAP.
This role will be long term, until the end of the academic year.
The school will consider part time applications.
\n In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the learning, progress and achievement of all pupils.
The school are looking for a Teacher to join their team, who is passionate about developing strategies for the use of English, to promote new teaching methods and to improve learning throughout the English department.
\n Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): \n Deliver the curriculum, prepare teaching materials and ensure high standards of literacy and student process \n \n Identifying clear, appropriate targets for attainment and / or achievement across English \n Monitoring and evaluating pupil progress and achievement against targets.
\n Leading evaluation strategies to contribute to overall school self-evaluation \n Establishing a safe and stimulating environment, manage classroom behaviour and promote student wellbeing \n Using assessment data to monitor student progress, set targets and plan lessons \n \n The school welcome applications from ECT's, as well as Experienced Teachers.
\n You must hold Qualified Teacher Status to apply for this role, we will not consider applications without QTS.
