English Teacher – Aylesbury (Rapidly Improving School) Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire Start Date: ASAP or November Salary: MPS/UPS (M1 to UPS3) + TLR potential Contract: Full-time, with a Permanent Opportunity for the right candidate We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join a rapidly improving secondary school in Aylesbury.

Role Overview The successful candidate will deliver English to students at Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5, depending on experience.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and contributing to the ongoing development of the English department.
Key Responsibilities: Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5 teaching) Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students Assess, track and report on the progress of students in line with school policies Contribute to curriculum development and the sharing of best practice within the department Foster a positive classroom environment that supports both student learning and well-being Participate actively in the school's continuous improvement initiatives Candidate Profile We are looking for a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in English or a related subject.
You should have experience teaching at KS3 and KS4, with experience or willingness to teach KS5 seen as advantageous.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about English and committed to raising student achievement in an improving school environment.
