As a Cover Supervisor, you will: Step into the classroom to manage pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.
Engage and inspire students across various age groups (11-16) and abilities.
Maintain a productive and safe learning environment, ensuring classroom rules and behaviour expectations are followed.
Deliver engaging, curriculum-linked activities that build students' understanding and confidence in English.
Support individual students or small groups needing extra help, fostering a love for reading and writing.
Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning and provide feedback on pupil progress and engagement.
You'll thrive as a Graduate English Cover Supervisor if you: Have a strong passion for English literature and language, with a desire to inspire young learners.
