Job Title: English and Maths KS3 Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Canvey Island Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Deliver high-quality English and Maths tuition to Key Stage 3 students Create engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents Utilise a variety of teaching methods to ensure student understanding and engagement Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Demonstrated expertise in English and Maths curriculum for Key Stage 3 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: At least 2 years of experience teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level Proven track record of improving student performance Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the national curriculum for English and Maths at Key Stage 3 Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students Effective classroom management skills Preferred Qualifications: Additional certification in Special Education or Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) Experience working with students with learning difficulties Working Conditions: Part-time hours, flexible schedule Classroom-based teaching environment Interaction with students, parents, and school staff All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
