Our UK Poultry division produces a third of all poultry eaten in the UK and represents more than half of 2 Sisters' business by sales.
The division employs over 8,500 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products which are then marketed to UK consumers via major retailers.
As an Engineering Shift Manager you will oversee 4 Engineering Shift Team Leaders and you will manage a team of 6 on day shift.
You will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations and effective management of all engineering activities.
Key Responsibilities Point of call for escalations for any major downtimes and breakdowns of machinery Reporting Attend internal meetings Prioritise work-load Plan PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) work for the weekend Proposing continuous Improvement projects, Planning, and executing strategies for completing projects on time About You You will be a fully qualified/time served Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.
You will ideally have experience within the food industry.
We will consider someone in a Team Leader role looking to take a step up within their carer.
