Position: Engineering Manager Salary: c£52,000 per annum plus company car & benefits

75 hours per week, which includes one 6 hour Saturday morning per month.
Nicholas Associates have an excellent opportunity for an Engineering Manager, based in West Yorkshire.
We are representing a leading waste management client, who is committed to sustainability through the minimisation of waste, by transforming it into valuable resources wherever possible.
As the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for; Managing the Engineering function across four quarry sites and three engineering workshops, the health and safety of staff, contractors, and visitors to site, minimising the effect of the engineering function on the environment, engineering projects planning through to completion in line with the annual budget.
You will manage the Engineering functions of the Quarries Business associated with (but not restricted to) all Fixed & Mobile production plant and Quarry Installations.
This will include managing engineering staff and contractors, fixed plant upgrade works, preventative and planned maintenance and repair of all plant including electrical installations, fabrication and welding works, workshops and storekeeping and engineering staff recruitment/training.
Operate the Engineering Department in accordance with the Health and Safety document.
Ensure management control and supervision of all engineering activities.
Ensure that daily/weekly/monthly inspections are completed, and defects reported.
Required Work Experience: 5-7 Years of management experience in the Quarry or similar industrial facility
Preferred Qualified Electrician or extensive electrical knowledge.
