Engineering Manager

The Role:The role of Engineering Manager will include:Reporting directly into the Operations Manager of the business, being involved in daily meetings and creating reports based around Maintenance ActivityLooking after two sites with the vast majority of the time being spent in SheffordResponsible for all Engineering activity, from Maintenance to the Moulding Engineers and Production Engineers tooCreating projects that will increase OEE, reduce wastage and bringing these to the Operations ManagerHave a team of 4 Engineers and a Team Leader Reporting into youFuture Planning of the site – looking after long term plans for Engineering, looking at the bigger picture rather than the day to day maintenanceUtilising the CMMS system in place and improving thisDeveloping the Engineering team with Training and Development plansBudget control for all Engineering activitiesThe Candidate;The right Candidate for the role of Engineering Manager will be/have:A recognised Engineering QualificationExperience working as an Engineering Manager in a Manufacturing FacilityExperience in developing and increasing performance in teamsExperience with a CMMS system and implementing KPIsExperience with looking at the bigger picture to ensure the long term success of the siteThe Benefits:The Benefits included for a successful applicant are:A full time permanent position within a stable and growing business6% Pension contributed by the company2X Life AssurancePrivate Medical Care25 + 8 Bank Holidays (Increases to 28 with Length of Service)Good Work Life BalanceA great working culture, fantastic people around you whether it be in the Engineering department, Operations, Manufacturing or HR
