Engineering Manager Location: Loughborough, England Hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: Competitive Business Unit : Pharma Services Open To : Internal & External Applicants Ref No: HRJOB 101 38 The Role Th is role involves leading and managing the site engineering team at Almac in Charnwood to provide comprehensive engineering support to operations.
This includes overseeing all site facility and engineering projects, supporting the introduction of new assets, and ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out to high standards of compliance with business and regulatory requirements.
The primary focus is on ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant operations in line with cGxP regulations.
Key responsibilities include managing and developing the engineering team, coordinating local engineering activities, and working with site leadership to achieve production targets by optimizing maintenance activities.
The role also involves planning and controlling engineering OPEX and CAPEX budgets, delivering site projects on schedule, and maintaining a robust site maintenance program.
Additionally, the post holder will develop and improve engineering procedures, manage external service providers, and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation.
Key Requirements Have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time employment in the UK Degree level qualification in an Engineering discipline OR extensive relevant experience Significant engineering experience within the pharmaceutical industry Significant experience in a responsible position of leading, developing and coaching engineering teams Thorough working knowledge of engineering within a cGMP operating environment Experience of engineering maintenance and compliance with statutory regulations Further Information The working pattern for this role is Monday Friday 09:00 17:00.
Ad hoc weekends will also be required .
