As an Engineering Manager at Zoopla your day-to-day will include: Line managing, coaching and mentoring software engineers; focusing on their engagement, retention, growth and performance, while promoting a culture of innovation, teamwork and self-improvement.Spending some of your time making technical contributions - this could include writing code, reviewing code, helping teams design architecture or removing blockers for development.On the frontend you'll work with React, Next.js and TypeScript. On the backend it's mostly Node.js and GraphQL, written in TypeScript. We also have some Golang, Python and Perl.Skills we're looking for: A willingness to flex your skills across the various layers of the stack even if you don't have experience in these specific technologies.
