They are seeking an Engineering Manager with a focus on AI and Software to join their growing team in Reading.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the development of automated production systems.
What you'll do:As an Engineering Manager specialising in AI & Software, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's automated production systems.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Leading a dedicated software engineering teamMentoring junior membersTaking full ownership of all software aspectsDeveloping AI models for capsule processing within the systemManaging field delivery operations apps and toolsYour ability to deliver operational solutions swiftly under start-up time pressures will be crucial for success.
What you bring:The ideal candidate for this Engineering Manager role brings a wealth of experience in software engineering leadership along with a strong academic background in computer science or a related engineering discipline.
Your proficiency in Python/C++, Tensorflow, and Computer Vision will be essential for success.
Your hands-on experience in designing and implementing control mechanisms for automation, coupled with your solution-oriented mindset, will enable you to excel in this role.
Experience with low power automated systems design and embedded microcontrollers/IDEs would be highly desirable.
