Job Title: Engineering & Maintenance Manager Location: Walsingham, North Norfolk, UK Contract and Shift details: Permanent – Monday – Friday 37.5hrs per week (Flexibility is needed) Join our dynamic team as an Engineering Manager and lead the charge in maintaining and enhancing our engineering-based systems.

With a focus on high-volume manufacturing in the animal feed industry, we are seeking an experienced and hands-on Engineering Manager to oversea the seamless operation of our engineering department.
Responsibilities: Ensure compliance and maintenance of engineering-based systems.
Oversee spares and consumable stock management Ensure all equipment is maintained as per the agreed Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule and asset care program Financial control and responsibility – Labour, R&R budget, H,S&E and buildings and maintenance Lead a team of 4 engineers & provide hands-on guidance and support.
Promoting best practice and right first time with the team offering positive leadership and continued development Ensure the sites meet compliance with all relevant Legislation & Statutory Inspections Working closely with our operations Manager contribute to the budget plan for the financial year and maintain control of spend (by month).
Contribute to overall budget plan and CAPEX submissions presenting any budget deviation requirements, proposing solutions for potential savings or process optimisation plans as well as looking at ways to improve overall site performance.

About you: Multiskilled Engineer Preferable HND/HNC, BTEC or NVQ Engineering qualification mechanical or electrical Previous experience in high-volume manufacturing / heavy industrial manufacturing Familiarity with ISO standards Exposure to CI or Lean methodologies.
Proven Communication skills: Ability to engage and motivate teams and individuals with previous line management experience.
Ability to support 24 hours on call (via a rota system) Location For this role you will be based at our Walsingham site.
