Witney Engineer £24,000 plus overtime (time and a half) We are delighted to be looking for an Engineer to join a client of ours based in Witney.
They are looking for a motivated and committed person who would like to learn new skills as an Engineer in a niche sector, that is wanting a long-term opportunity within a company who will invest training and support in their development.
This Pool Liner Engineer position is working for a swimming pool company whose Head Office is in Witney.
They are paying a salary of £24,000, there is also overtime available whilst on site, which will be paid at time and a half.
The job involves traveling to sites around the UK and installing vinyl liners into the clients new swimming pools during the construction phase.
You must be able to stay away at site Mon-Fri, which will be required on a regular basis.
You will not be away or required to work weekends.
Overnight costs and evening meals are covered by the company under expenses as well as an allowance for breakfast and lunch.
Full training will be given over a minimum of 18 months with the title of On-site Lining Engineer.
Tasks for On-site Liner Engineer to include Handling, measuring, cutting and installing vinyl to precise measurements Heat welding/joining the vinyl with handheld heat guns Ensuring high quality installation and aesthetic appearance Travel around the UK and staying near site locations Flexibility in terms of being able to stay away and working hours is key due to the nature of the job.
Experience in Roofing/Welding/Construction/carpet fitting or any trade that requires precise work/measuring/cutting/heat welding would be an advantage.
You will be provided with a work van and all the needed tools.
You should have a drivers license so that the driving can be shared over long distances with your partner that you will be working with.
