Working at the forefront of driving compliance with the heat networks sector, you'll collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including the Department for Energy and Net Zero, OFGEM and internal teams as you develop and execute strategies that achieve our regulatory goals.
Leading a highly professional team of enforcement officers and technical experts, you'll be responsible for creating and implementing our operational plans, including financial management and performance reporting.But your work won't stop here – you'll also help to drive the transition to net zero by developing and implementing robust technical standards and regulations to protect consumers and ensure accurate heat metering.
Leading enforcement activities to guarantee industry's compliance with legal requirements, and providing the expert guidance necessary to support improvement, you'll build deep knowledge of the industry to optimise the regulatory strategy and empower your team.
Committed to fostering positive collaboration throughout our organisation, we'll also expect you to deliver expert advice to government.Who we're looking forWith a degree or its equivalent in an engineering or related subject, you'll possess the ability to quickly acquire and apply technical knowledge, and a track record of delivering technical regulations, operational projects or similar in the utilities sector.
Your strong analytical abilities will allow you to interpret complex data, identify trends and inform decision making, and your strategic mindset will see you developing and implementing effective plans, adapting to changing priorities and delivering results under pressure.You'll be ready to use your superb interpersonal and communication skills to build excellent relationships with industry representatives, policymakers, consumers and other stakeholders, while your motivational skills will be key as you lead teams and collaborate with your colleagues.
