Energy ConsultantOur OpportunityAre you a Senior Energy Consultant, looking to take the next step in your career?
Are you motivated to inspire others and have an appreciation for the environmental but also the social and economic needs of your clients?
Due to continued growth we are looking to recruit a Senior Energy Consultant to join our passionate Sustainability and Energy Team here at Pick Everard.
This role would see you driving forward Pick Everard's growing requirements to deliver energy audits and decarbonisation plans for our clients as part of The Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme.
Working alongside a dedicated team, you will be involved in decarbonising existing buildings, sites and clients' estate portfolios.
You will work alongside energy consultants building physics engineers, and sustainability consultants, as well as our Building Services Engineers, Building Surveyors, Cost Consultants and all other Pick Everard Design and Management disciplines.
As a practice, we have adopted an agile working policy, meaning you will have the flexibility of a mix of home and office working.
Find out what it is like to work at Pick Everard here: Life at PickEverard - Pick EverardAbout YouOur ideal Senior Energy Consultant must have:  A relevant degree or significant demonstrated experience in Building Services Engineering or relevant areas Detailed understanding and practical experience of the delivery of energy audits, building fabric improvements, carbon reduction plans and building performance evaluations Experience in producing Heat Decarbonisation Plans and supporting Salix funding applications (Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme, Low Carbon Skills Fund) Experience in corporate Net Zero Carbon pathways.
Experience working with design teams and client stakeholders in discussing, encouraging and promoting sustainable and low carbon design across multiple sectors Experience in the use of energy efficiency and carbon reduction tools and software packages It would be nice for you to have:  Membership, or working towards membership, with relevant industry bodies LCEA, ESOS, CIBSE Heat Networks, Energy Institute or CPMV accreditation Good understanding of other strategic advisory services relating to carbon emissions Thermal modelling experience On-site experienceAbout UsOur nationwide multidisciplinary team of 650+ work collaboratively to deliver outstanding places and spaces that create lasting value for local communities.
