You will provide strategic legal support on various employment law matters, working on high-stakes projects and managing legal and employee relations risks.

Responsibilities: Advising senior stakeholders, including C-Suite executives, on national and global employment law matters, including strategic projects.
Managing and mitigating legal and employee relations risks for the business.
Leading on a wide range of employment issues such as redundancy, TUPE, performance, and compensation/benefits.
Drafting, negotiating, and advising on employment contracts, settlement agreements, and commercial outsourcing agreements.
Overseeing employment litigation and managing external counsel.
Partnering with HR, legal, and other business functions on compliance, policy, and risk management.
Providing training and guidance for HR teams on employment law matters.
Monitoring legislative changes and ensuring compliance across jurisdictions.
What are we looking for?
Qualified lawyer in England and Wales, with 5+ years post-qualification experience, ideally having trained at a respected City or regional law firm.
Experience in employment law, including data protection and TUPE matters.
International exposure to employment law (especially in Europe) is advantageous.
Excellent drafting skills and the ability to provide pragmatic, business-oriented solutions.
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload effectively.
Confidence in advising senior stakeholders and delivering advice clearly and positively.
Knowledge of additional European languages is a plus but not essential.
