Job Description Themis Recruit are seeking a skilled and motivated Employment Law Solicitor to join our clients award-winning Employment Law team.
You will provide expert legal support, assisting with a wide range of employment law matters and offering advice to clients on various employment-related issues.
Key Responsibilities: You will support the Employment Law team in the following areas: Employment Tribunal claims Disciplinary and grievance procedures Discrimination issues Dismissals, redundancies, and restructures Drafting and reviewing employment contracts and staff handbooks Consultancy agreements Settlement agreements TUPE transfers Assisting with client training sessions Employment law matters in corporate transactions Whistleblowing cases Workplace investigations Requirements Around 3 PQE in employment law Strong technical knowledge of employment law Proficient in MS Word and Outlook Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team Experience with practice management databases (Desirable) Person Specification: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Highly organized, with the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities A "completer-finisher" with a proactive, can-do attitude Flexible, with the ability to adapt to varying workloads and team needs Ability to take the initiative and handle tasks independently Welsh language skills would be beneficial but not essential Benefits 25 days holiday per annum, plus statutory and bank holidays Private medical insurance 3% pension contribution Death in service cover Requirements - Around 3 PQE in employment law - Strong technical knowledge of employment law - Proficient in MS Word and Outlook - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team - Experience with practice management databases (Desirable) Person Specification: - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Highly organized, with the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities - A "completer-finisher" with a proactive, can-do attitude - Flexible, with the ability to adapt to varying workloads and team needs - Ability to take the initiative and handle tasks independently - Welsh language skills would be beneficial but not essential
