Job Purpose: We are seeking a dynamic and goal-oriented Employer Engagement Officer to drive awareness and participation in our fully funded Higher Education (HE) courses for employers and their staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with employers to showcase the benefits of these courses, facilitating lasting partnerships, and supporting businesses in accessing opportunities for workforce development through education.
This is an initial 3 month temporary contract, with a desire to retain as a permanent position. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Proactively identify and contact employers across various sectors to promote funded HE course opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with HR departments, learning and development teams, and business leaders to encourage recurring learner enrolments. Responsible for qualifying leads and understanding their suitability to move forward to enrol onto their chosen course. Outbound calls to generate leads and build pipeline. Attend virtual meetings with Employers to present our services. Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified meetings or sales opportunities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions and pipeline activities in the CRM system. What we are looking for in you: Ability to engage prospects and convey the value of our product/service clearly and confidently. Organizational skills to manage multiple leads and opportunities simultaneously. Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve results. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—comfortable with phone, email, and social selling. Resilient and persistent, with a positive attitude. Confident and forward-thinking, who can work on their own initiative. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly. Familiarity with CRM systems - desirable. Education sector knowledge - desirable. Previous experience in a sales, telemarketing, or customer service role is a plus but not required - desirable. Why work with Us?
