HMP Bullingdon is a male prison with operational capacity of around 1,100.
This exciting new role as an Emergency and Urgent Care Practitioner would suit a qualified Paramedic or Emergency Care Nurse, as you will be responding to emergency and urgent care situations.
You might have worked as a Paramedic, Primary Care, or in A&E, delivering emergency and urgent care.
The site currently offers variety of shifts patterns, including 07:30 - 17:30, 07:30 - 19:30, night shifts, and weekends / bank holidays.
This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £47,250 per annum - depending on experience.

You will Youll be playing an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient's care Working as part of a team of primary care nurses, and delivering care to patients both within the healthcare centre and on the wings/ blocks.
Thrives on a challenge to provide high-quality emergency care and minor injury treatment to patients in both primary care and acute care needs in a prison setting Performing procedures such as suturing, IV access, haemorrhage control, wound care and cardiac & CVA intervention.

Our new Emergency & Urgent Care Practitioner Will: Be a qualified Paramedic or Nurse - RGN, Primary Care Nurse, A&E Nurse Have professional registration - NMC or HCPC Proven Experience in either: Accident and Emergency, primary care environments or minor injuries/illness Excellent communication skills Non-judgmental and compassionate approach Be flexible with shifts and hours worked Ideally, have experience within a hospital, community or prison environment Secure environments are one of the most challenging, yet rewarding places for healthcare professionals to work.
