What you can look forwards to as EMC Test Engineer: Setting up and conducting all types of EMC tests and ensuring that test specifications are followed correctly Devising and carrying out non-standard tests to meet special requirements Recording product condition or behaviour during and after test and creating concise and clear test records Working as part of large team to co-ordinate testing activities and help maintain the test facilities.
Monitoring test equipment and reporting anomalies or faults Working closely with clients to understand and resolve EMC test failures through investigative work Your Profile as EMC Test Engineer: Successfully completed degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent qualification with a good understanding in Physics Several years practical test experience in a controlled test environment working to Automotive or Aerospace test Standards Familiarity with testing, monitoring and control instruments Conscientious in attention to detail, accuracy and record keeping Ability to communicate clearly and to deal confidently with customers
