In this essential role, you will be responsible for design, development, testing and implementation of embedded seeker software for cutting-edge missile systems.
The Role: As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be more than just another engineer; you will be a part of dynamic multi-disciplinary team made up of hardware, software and firmware specialists.
Together you will drive the full Software Development Lifecycle for complex, real-time software embedded in missile sub-components.
Your expertise will be essential in defining the architecture, guiding design choices, and guaranteeing comprehensive testing and validation.
Additionally, this role provides an opportunity to go beyond theoretical concepts.
You will engage directly with missile components and testing equipment, enabling you to witness your work materialize in a practical lab setting.

Essential Requirements: Security Clearance- Must be a British citizen or dual UK national, eligible or currently holding SC clearance Expertise in Real-Time Embedded Systems- Proven track record in creating hard real-time embedded software solutions.
Proficiency in C Programming- Exceptional skills in C programming, with an in-depth understanding of its use in real-time applications Knowledge of Communication Protocols- Strong familiarity with protocols including SPI, UART, Ethernet and PCI-Express Software Design Familiarity- Understanding of software design methodologies such as UML Analytical Skills- Capability to evaluate system performance and ensure effective integration Experience Across SDLC- Practical experience throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
