Electronics Design Engineer (£60,000-70,000) An exciting opportunity as an Electronics Design Engineer is now available at a company working on cutting-edge products in areas such as satellite communications, industrial sensing, and biomedical imaging.
This role is ideal for a versatile engineer passionate about advancing in electronics design and contributing to transformative applications in optics and photonics.
The Electronics Design Engineer will be responsible for; The design and development of electronic sub-systems from concept through to manufacturing and testing.
The development of specifications and requirement analysis for complex electronics projects.
The design of laser drivers, optical detection circuits, and digital control electronics.
The development of embedded firmware/software for ARM-based digital control systems.
Collaborate with Business Development and Engineering teams to generate innovative solutions for clients.
The ideal Electronics Design Engineer will have; Significant experience in electronics design and development, with a strong foundation in analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design.
Proficiency in firmware and software development for ARM-based microcontrollers.
Skilled in schematic capture and PCB layout (e.g., Altium).
Hands-on experience with prototyping and laboratory test equipment.
