Electronics Design Engineer

Electronics Engineer – Fareham, Hampshire – Permanent £35k-£50k per annum This job would be suitable for an Electronics Design Engineer who would like to play a key role in a small design team, working on the full lifecycle of product development.
You'll be involved in designing technology that is deployed underwater and performs a number of beneficial applications for the preservation of wildlife.

As part of a small company you'll enjoy a wide range of responsibilities focusing primarily on design and development, as well as potential involvement in installations and customer support.

The ideal candidate would have a mix of hardware (ideally schematic through to PCB design) and embedded C programming experience, additionally any experience in PC applications software in C# would be desirable but is not essential.

It is necessary for this hire to already have some commercial experience in a similar setting and be skilled in the use of equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.

You'll need to demonstrate good management of R&D files and documentation using tools such as Github, KiCAD, Atmel Studio and Visual Studio.

You'll be working under the guidance and mentorship of a great Lead Engineer in a relatively casual and informal setting.
