Electronics Assembly Technician

M2 Resourcing are partnered with a UK leading provider of electrical bite indication equipment within the angling and fishing industry.
We are seeking a skilled Electronic Assembly sub-contractor to join a dynamic team.
In this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for assembling electronic components and sub-assemblies with precision and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electronic assembly processes and have a keen mechanical aptitude.
Duties: Assembling electrical components and sub-assemblies according to specifications and diagrams.
Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to complete assembly tasks.
Perform quality checks on assembled products to ensure compliance with standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to assembly process or components.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Document all assembly processes and report any discrepancies or improvements.
Skills: Proficient soldering skills.
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.
Strong knowledge of electronic systems and components.
Excellent mechanical knowledge to understand assembly processes thoroughly.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and technical drawings accurately.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for quality assurance.
Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
Expected hours: 27 - 36 hours per week.
