Join us as an Electronic Trading Risk & Control Director
We'll look to you to provide your electronic trading risk subject matter expertise to enable the oversight and enhancement of the global risk and control frameworkDay-to-day, you'll review and assess adherence to the key electronic trading policies and develop policies that're in line with our strategiesThis is your opportunity to explore your leadership potential in a role where you'll be recognised for your unwavering integrity, sound judgement and in-depth knowledgeWhat you'll doBy working within Electronic Trading Risk & Control, you'll support the administration of the e-trading governance structure, including the Electronic Trading Risk Committee.
Alongside this, you'll ensure the smooth management of the three electronic trading control lifecycles, including the algorithm lifecycle, the automated control lifecycle and the e-platform lifecycle.
Your top priorities will include:
Contributing to the strategic enhancement of our electronic trading risk management capabilitiesInvestigating and responding to electronic trading risk issues, internal reviews and regulatory enquiriesDelivering regulatory remediation in the electronic trading space in a cost-efficient manner and helping with internal audit reviews of the relevant control landscapeIdentifying and mitigating non-market risks that're inherent in the electronic trading businesses where appropriateCollaborating with business risk managers to deliver a suitable risk and control agenda for our bankThe skills you'll needTo be successful in this role, you'll have knowledge of financial service businesses, including investment banking, and operational experience within an electronic trading business or appropriate consulting experience.
In addition, you'll need a STEM degree, or a similar analytical qualification, a commercial and strategic mindset and the ability to solve problems.
Furthermore, you'll need:
Knowledge of financial service risks and controls at different levels of an organisationAn understanding of how to think strategically and develop targeted and intelligent solutionsA clear track record of delivery and the ability to work to deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
