ELECTRO-MECHANICAL ASSEMBLERWE ARE LOOKING FOR AN ELECTRO-MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER TO JOIN A LEADING AEROSPACE AND DEFENCE COMPANY ON A 12 MONTH FTC On-site in Ampthill £32,000 per year12-Month Fixed Term Contract 37.5 hours a weekFridays OffAbility to obtain SC clearance is essential WHAT WILL THE ASSEMBLER BE DOING?You will be joining a team working the Mechanical and Electrical assembly of low volume high value hardware.
You'll be responsible for electrical and mechanical assembly and integration of complex systems, working from drawings, engineering instruction and using a variety of hand and air tools along with Jigs, fixtures and measuring.WE NEED THE ASSEMBLER TO HAVE…Ability to interpret drawings and work from written instructions, specifications, procedures, and schematics with limited supervision.Cable/Harness installation and routing/connecting.Ability to use hand tools, jigs, fixtures and measuring tools and measuring equipment with high accuracy.Experience of product functional acceptance testing desirable.Cleanliness and housekeeping (5S) methodology.A high level of health and safety awareness.Ability to obtain SC clearance is essential There are some very exciting future opportunities meaning this opening could develop into a more longer-term assignment or permanent role.TO BE CONSIDERED….Please either apply by clicking online or emailing me directly to ******.
