GES are currently looking for an Electrical Contract Manager to join our Electrics Team based at the Excel in London.
Role Purpose:
You will be responsible for managing all electrical requirements both pre-site and at show for organisers, managing clients' expectations and ensuring a smooth delivery of the GES Electrical product.

Main duties include: Manage direct applications and compile necessary qualifications, health, and safety data.Supervise electrical processing team to ensure accurate and high-quality work orders.Collate electrical load data for each stand, order mains from venues, and transfer technical specifications onto floor plans, including numbering mains requests.Regularly communicate new or updated requirements with venues, liaise with electrical staff and subcontractors pre-site and on-site, and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).Promote additional power and lighting options to clients both pre-event and on-site.Coordinate with wholesalers, handle subcontractor pricing, select vendors, and verify subcontractor invoices.Produce schedules, check and process invoices, raise show reports, create price lists, generate purchase orders, and monitor budgets to achieve financial targets.Oversee health and safety compliance, conduct risk assessments, manage on-site safety issues, and document any incidents or complaints.Manage installations, handle weekly reports for shows, and ensure accurate reporting on show performance.Support R&D for new products (e.g., battery-powered systems) and monitor new systems within Clarity, updating account management as needed.Be adaptable to a range of tasks, skills, and locations as required by the business. This role demands a mix of technical knowledge, strong organizational skills, and adherence to safety and financial protocols to ensure high-quality service and successful show execution.
Relationships:
You will be required to develop and maintain positive and progressive working relationships both internally and externally, to facilitate growth and integration across the business. You will be required to work collaboratively alongside and provide support to the GES employees/departments and suppliers/exhibitors/organisers.
