We are looking to recruit a Electrical Package Manager for a 12 month contract, based in Leatherhead, Surrey.
On Offer Competitive hourly pay rate Outside IR35, highly likely so engagement via a Ltd Co. permitted Hybrid working 3 days in the office, 2 days from home Responsibilities KBR are looking for a Project Manager who possesses significant experience in electrical engineering.
The successful candidate will be; Responsible for the delivery of the major electrical packages for a significant 'normally unattended' Greenfield facility.
The project also comprises brownfield aspects requiring interface engagement.
The focal point between the Client's PMT and the KBR PMT, procurement and engineering teams.
The main packages include Synchronous Condensers, CLRs and main Electrical equipment such as 110kV switchgear, transformers, switchgear, VSD etc.
Looking across those major packages to drive the multi-functional delivery of the RFQ process, including integrating with the construction team on ROS dates, build sequence etc.
and facilitating stakeholder buy in.
Supporting the engineering disciplines with a broad understanding of the scope,.
Have solid engineering background to facilitate technical issues resolution and shall have prior experience of working with major equipment suppliers, in roles of package engineer or package manager.
Experience of ICSS design will also be an advantage.
Building strong working relationships with with Client and prospective suppliers will be critical.
