Electrical Maintenance Engineer Our client, a leading processing and manufacturing company are in search of an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their highly reputable company.
Main Duties Installation, repair, and upkeep of all electrical and/or mechanical production equipment.
Electrical/Mechanical fault diagnosis.
Ensuring preventative maintenance schedules are followed and completed in full.
Provision of technical support to all departments.
Ensuring the infrastructure in maintained to a high standard.
Implement solutions to help improve machine reliability and quality standards.
Working with the on-site CMMS systems to drive cost improvements.
Comply with food safety, quality, legality, and environmental policies.
Manage fire safety checks including daily panel, weekly break glass and monthly equipment checks.
Adhere to daily and weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of site.
Work closely with outside contractors and assist where required.
Report to maintenance manager on any issues or recommended alterations to any process or machine.
Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards in accordance with Company rules and regulations.
Assist in team projects and any other reasonable tasks.
Successful candidate must have: The successful candidate will be qualified to at least NVQ level 3 or equivalent with a recognised engineering apprenticeship or training programme.
Will have relevant industry experience with exposure to fast-paced production.
Can carry out electrical and mechanical PLCs, fault diagnosis and repairs.
More than 3 years of experience in a maintenance role or similar.
Demonstrated track record.
Good Communication Skills in English (interpersonal, listening, written and oral) and a working knowledge of English.
Team player, able to work with others and achieve results.
